The Role of the Staff Council

The Staff Council plays a central role in the governance and strategic direction of the Association. Here is an overview of its key responsibilities:

  1. Defining the Vision – The Council sets the general policy guidelines of the Association and ensures their implementation by the Executive Committee.
  2. Election and Oversight – It elects the Executive Committee and approves any changes in its composition.
  3. Review and Modernization – It adopts and submits amendments to the Statutes, which are then presented for approval at the General Assembly.
  4. Resource Management – Based on proposals from the Executive Committee, it recommends the budget, approves subventions, and determines the membership fee rate.
  5. Representation and Collaboration – It appoints delegates to bodies where such representation is required and establishes specialised commissions and working groups.
  6. Participation and Innovation – It creates commissions, invites experts, and organises referendums to engage the personnel in key decisions.
  7. Ethics and Inclusion: it decides on the exclusion or readmission of members, guaranteeing fair and transparent governance.
