A new educational year is beginning at the Jardin des Particules. The Jardin des Particules is a preschool and school structure. We offer a nursery service for children between 4 months and 3 years old, and a school service for children between 3 and 9 years old. We are open Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., for full-day care, including a canteen service.

We are a small-scale structure in a rich and diverse multicultural context. The child and family are our key partners; we ensure the child’s well-being through constant dialogue and collaboration with parents.

Our multidisciplinary and experienced team provides a stimulating and creative environment, based on an active and caring approach. This relies on professional reflection, attentive observation of the child, constructive dialogue with families, as well as the latest research in education.

It is with great pleasure that we present to you our new features for the 2025–2026 school year!

Our school program is evolving!

We are delighted to announce the opening of a new grade: class 5P, for children aged 8 to 9.

Looking ahead, a class 6P will open in the 2026–2027 school year, to be followed progressively by other grades. Our goal is to offer complete primary education, from age 3 up to 11.

We are continuing our childcare service “Wednesdays of Discovery”, for children aged 3 to 9. Subject to availability, it is possible to book a full day of care, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., either regularly throughout the year or occasionally.

Our teaching team, in collaboration with members from CERN’s various Clubs, will offer your children a rich and diverse program around stimulating themes such as music, sports, creativity, science, yoga, nature, and English learning, as well as:

• Privileged access to our multisensory space: a place for both relaxation and stimulation, adapted to all ages.
• A sports and swimming project in partnership with the Maisonnex Sports Center and the Satigny swimming pool.
• Close collaboration with Gateway Science: children regularly take part in activities at this new educational hub, giving them many opportunities for discovery and scientific experimentation.
• Occasional childcare services: the possibility to enroll your child in the nursery or school as needed, either for a single day (from 2 years old) or a week (from 6 months), depending on availability.

And for the nursery?

In our three nursery sections, designed for children aged 4 months to 3 years, two new projects will be introduced:

• Musical awakening,
• Psychomotor awakening.

Thanks to a new collaboration with a music specialist and a psychomotor therapist, our youngest children will regularly benefit from group awakening sessions, offering varied and enriching musical and motor experiences.

These specialists join the educational team as resource persons, providing high-quality support tailored to the specific needs of very young children. Their complementary perspectives, combined with sensitive attention to both children and families, aim to create a caring and high-quality educational environment.
