Questionnaire on Duty travel

Administrative Circular No. 33 sets out the rules for reimbursement of expenses incurred during an “Duty travel” required by CERN. Amendments were introduced and approved by the Standing Concertation Committee (SCC) at its meetings on 28 June 2023 and 8 February 2024.

After 18 months of applying the revised Circular and its provisions, the Staff Association wishes to conduct a short survey in order to collect any problems or difficulties you may have encountered during duty travels; whether during the preparation of the trip, while travelling, or when claiming reimbursement of incurred expenses.

The principle and main purpose of the Circular is to allow the reimbursement of actual expenses, within the limit of the Daily Travel Allowance (DTA), so that travellers are not left with any personal expenses directly related to the duty travel.

We kindly ask you to complete this short questionnaire, which will allow us to provide feedback to the Standing Concertation Committee on the relevance of the changes made.
