Life within the Staff Association (SA) is shaped on a daily basis by the circumstances in which it must engage, while respecting its own Statutes. These outline its tasks and responsibilities, with the primary duty being the representation and defense of the members of personnel rights in the widest sense. In addition, other formal and equally significant occasions occur consistently.

Among these obligations, one is unavoidable. Every two years, elections are organized to reconstitute the Staff Council (CP), which will work during the following two years. Since its creation, the CP has worked in many ways and on numerous issues for the common good. Its members are also your close ambassadors to our leadership. They have the ability to help you, to answer your questions, or to redirect you to the right place to try to resolve your issue.

Only members of the SA* were able to vote for the colleagues who stood for election. This is what we have successfully carried out in recent weeks. The election process went extremely well; many thanks to our Secretariat and the Electoral Commission!

And congratulations to all of you, as we are pleased to welcome 37 new delegates to the Staff Council benches for the 2026–2027 term (see the full list below).

Before officially taking up their duties, the Association offers a special welcome to the new delegates. The Association’s Assizes bring together delegates for two key in-person days of exchange, collaboration, and learning.

On Monday, 17 November, the day began with an explanation of how the SA operates, the Bodies in which the SA is represented, the principle of concertation, and the SA’s missions and roles. This was followed by presentations on the recent and future activities of the various internal Commissions: employment conditions, social protection, legal affairs, pensions, hygiene and safety, and many other topics.

On Tuesday, 18 November, the candidate for the Association’s presidency presented his ideas for the SA’s programme for the next term. A long series of discussions, exchanges, and debates followed between the new delegates and the current-term delegates, contributing to the establishment and enrichment of the programme.

The next step is the submission of the list before 25 November 2025.

Finally, the election of the Executive Committee (CE) will take place on 2 December 2025, during the last CP meeting of this year. The new CE will officially take office on 1 January 2026 for a two-year term.
