The CERN leave year ends on 30 September. If you have not been able to take all your annual leave by then, a maximum of 30 days of annual leave can be carried over to the following leave year. Any days exceeding this 30-day limit will be lost.

Regarding the Short-Term Saved Leave (STSLS), 22 days can be transferred to the next leave year and any unused days in excess of these 22 days will be automatically transferred to Long-Term Saved Leave (LTSLS).

Therefore, if you have not taken your annual leave, but have taken your Short-Term Saved Leave (STSLS), you should be aware that you can change the type of leave in your EDH document afterwards, to ensure that you do not lose any days of leave.

And don't forget that it's important for your mental and physical well-being that you take some time off!
