On 25 July, the CERN Basketball Club was delighted to organize its very first 3x3 Basketball Tournament on the R1 parking area, and the event proved to be a great success!

With 10 teams taking part, players of all levels came together to enjoy a day of basketball in a friendly and enthusiastic atmosphere. Throughout the tournament, exciting games were played in a spirit of fair play, teamwork, and good sportsmanship.

The event brought together participants from across CERN, providing a great opportunity to meet new people, enjoy some healthy competition, and share a common passion for basketball. The positive atmosphere, the enthusiasm of the players, and the support from spectators all contributed to making this first edition a memorable one.

Following such a successful debut, the CERN Basketball Club hopes to make the 3x3 tournament a regular event in the future.
